Country Birdhouse With New Colors

I'm so smitten with our new In Colors this year! The fun bright party colors are amazing! The card features the new Country Birdhouse Bundle.  I have LOVED playing with this bundle.  It's so cute!!!  I stamped the birdhouse with the Leaf Collection Background Stamp for some added texture.  It's such a sweet little house.  

I love the bright Petunia Pop color for the background.  I used the flower stamp from the Country Birdhouse Set to stamp the background then added some strips of DSP to make the birdhouse pop! The dies make assembling this birdhouse super easy and quick! I finished my card with a fun greeting and flower using Petunia Pop again and the new Shy Shamrock.  I have a full supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store. Birthday Cats

I have a cute card to share today! This one features the Pets and More Set.  This is a set that was released in our last Online Exclusive selection.  You can shop for this one in my Online Store.  This set is a reversible set, that means that you stamp the line image on one side of the stamp and the fill in image on the reverse side of the stamp.  Simple clean your stamp and flip it over. Because the image is symmetrical when you flip it everything lines up purrfectly. 

I went for a really bright color combo. I kept my background very simple.  I wanted to add in more of the images from the stamp set, like the fish, paws, etc.  So I cut 1/4" x 5 1/2" strips of Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon and Calypso Coral.  I stamped them tone on tone with their coordinating ink.  The cats are all fussy cut, but it's a simple shape.  My greeting is from the new Country Birdhouse Set.  I have a full supply list below, you can shop for these products in my Online Store.

New Catalog Launch Class

I held my in person New Catalog Launch over the weekend.  We had so much fun making amazing cards!  This was my first month in a new location and a new pricing structure.  I'm excited about my new location and if you're in Albuquerque, NM I'd love to have you join me at an in person class.  Contact me for details or check out my page with a list of classes for the rest of the year.  These are the cards my guests got to make.  I don't have measurements or supply list for these cards.  That's a perk reserved for my guests at my classes.  

The first card uses the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle.  I went with a softer color palette of Lost Lagoon and the new (returning) Pretty In Pink. So pretty! 

 

I love the next card!  Petunia Pop is quickly becoming my new favorite purple! I used the Flowers Of Beauty Bundle.  The greeting is from the Unbounded Love Set.  In the picture my leaves are stamped in Shy Shamrock, at class I changed it to Pretty Peacock for the leaves and I love that color combo! 

 

Up next is a fun fold card featuring the Hearts and Hugs Bundle.  This bundle features adorable critters but don't discount the dies that make the cute flowers. The Peach Pie piece lifts up and the Granny Apple Green piece opens.  Very cute! 

The next card has an incredible color combo!  I'll be pulling these two together again soon!  I used Shy Shamrock, Berry Burst and Basic Beige.  Wow!  The background is stamped in Shy Shamrock with the Leaf Collection Set.  The die cut piece is Berry Burst from the Thoughtful Wishes Dies.

The last card features the Adventurous Sky Bundle.  This fun card is perfect for anyone in your life!  I used Smoky Slate and the new Summer Splash.  We paired it all up with the Take To The Sky DSP.

Butterfly Accents Cake Box-VIDEO

Well friends Mother's Day is right around the corner and this sweet little cake box would be a perfect gift for mom.  It would work so perfectly for teacher appreciation too.  I sized the box to hold one of the Little Debbie Mother's Day Cakes but they have chocolate cakes of the same size available year round.  So don't miss making this one!  You can find these cakes in your area with the Little Debbie snack finder.   I am so smitten with the colors on this one.  They're so bright and fun and every element works so perfectly together!  

I'm using a few new colors, a new set, some new DSP and more!  There's so much on this box.  The butterfly is the real anchor though.  That is a carry over product from the last Mini Catalog.  If you haven't picked up the Paper Butterfly Accents yet add a package to your next order.  I colored mine with Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends.  I love the gradient look of it.  The greeting is from the new Hearts and Hugs Bundle, the flowers are die cut with the dies in the bundle.  

For the leaves I die cut them from Shaded Spruce and our new Shy Shamrock with the Unbounded Love Dies.  These dies are becoming a staple for me.  The labels are incredible, and the extra accents, like these leaves, are amazing!

Attention Shoppers Sliding Cart

How cute is the new Attention Shoppers Bundle?!  I love it!  My first thought with this bundle was a slider card with the shopping cart!  I love how fun and sweet this card is.  I used some softer, pastel colors from the Subtles Collection.  My shopping card will travel on the track.  So cute!!!  I stamped the background of the card with one of the greetings from the set.  I used Bubble Bath Ink on Bubble Bath Cardstock for a tone on tone look.  

I stamped my bags three times, one each on Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral.  I die cut them and then cut off the tissue papers from each back and mixed the colors up.  I used a craft knife to cut out the tiny piece in between the handles.  It's an extra step and can be a little finicky but I think it's worth it.  I added shading with the coordinating Stampin' Blends.  

The shopping card has a Foam Adhesive Strip on the back and is attached to a heavy piece of chip board.  The Foam Adhesive Strip keeps it from tipping over so it simply slides back and forth.  I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the track for my cart.  It's about 3 3/4" long and 3/8" tall.

Guess what!!!? Today is the day!!!  The new catalog is now live and you can shop for these amazing products!  Don't wait to add those amazing products to your stash!  Today I'm sharing an incredible card.  I'm not even sure what to call it, it's pretty fun, the bottom has a tab and when you move it back and forth the plane will tilt up and down.  It's sooo cute and so fun!  Anyone who gets this card will have so much fun playing with it and bonus for you it's super simple to make!  I'm using the new Adventurous Sky Bundle along with the coordinating Take To The Sky DSP.  

My plane is die cut from Petal Pink and Lost Lagoon cardstocks and my base is Boho Blue.  The plane is able to wobble because it's attached to the tab on the bottom via a strategically placed hole we've cut in the DSP layer.  I used the Crafters Tips for my Take Your Pick Tool.  You can also use a paper trimmer to cut the hole.  Check out the video for all the details on this card.  It's pretty amazing!  While you're there make sure to subscribe to my channel so you never miss a video! Country Flowers Over The Top Card

Do you ever make a card and just keep adding to it?  That's what happened with this card.  I started with the flowers and the bucket (or is it a jug?), then I added the stool.  I had the DSP, then I added the border layers.  I had the background then I added embossing and splatter.  When the card was done I added more with sequins and Linen Thread.  I couldn't stop, but I'm glad I didn't because it's a stunning card!  

Lots of sneak peeks on this card.  Good news you don't have to wait much longer, the catalog goes LIVE on Wednesday!  Yay!  The Country Flowers Bundle is amazing!  Would you believe that the very first time I saw it I wasn't sure about it.  Well I've sure changed my mind!  I used new DSP, Country Lace, and a new embossing folder, Eyelet.  They come in the same suite of products so they coordinate so well together!  I added some die cut pieces to my background with the Nested Essentials Dies and Perennial Postage Dies.  These little layers make a big difference.  

My coloring is all done with Stampin' Blends.  All colors are listed below in the supplies.  To get the spots of rust on my bucket I colored the entire piece with my Gray Granite Stampin' Blends.  Then I added a few spots with my Copper Clay Stampin' Blends.  Blend out the edges of the Copper Clay with the Light Gray Granite and you have some lovely rusty spots.  And if the flowers weren't enough I added sparkle with a Wink Of Stella brush. So pretty!  The whole card is finished with some sequins from the Shiny Sequins, find these in the Online Exclusive section of my Online Store.  I used some Linen Thread for another fun embellishment.  I have a fully supply list below.  You can shop for these products in my Online Store.
